Lying and misrepresenting products as healthy
You have pictures of fruits and vegetables on the side of your vending machines touting healthy foods and that could not be further from the truth. Pistachios, heavy in salt, and Cliff bars which have lots of added sugar are the only remotely healthy things. You sell only sodas and Red Bull and Gatorade which is basicaly sugar water. Honey buns, potato chips, Reese’s peanut butter cups etc. your machines are illegally false advertising and frankly you people should be ashamed. So, unless you sold a machine to someone who just filled it with [censored], you guys should be ashamed of yourself
Desired outcome: Put some real food in there stop touring “nutrition”

Franchise
It's my fault for trusting a company who sells vending machines for 2x the average of other companies, and justifies the price with "we get great locations". But listen to these other reviews, stay FAR AWAY from them. You will NOT get machines placed anywhere close to fast and high volume. What a waste of 90k

Vending business
This company is full of con artists. If you have money to invest, don't blow it here. They suck at location services, better off buying a brand new machine online for $4000 like they're really worth and spend the $500 for location services for a better locator. They will push you into low volume locations and make you feel like it's your fault machines don't get placed if you decline [censored]tu locations after all they talk about is "we get great locations"

Hello, please elaborate on you experience with Healthier4U vending? This is the most recent comment about the company and it is alarming. I have been talking with staff for almost a year now and still feel uneasy. Did they provide a FDD? Did you work with the Business and Development Team or directly with Del Swain?

I completely agree with the comments that say RUN far away from this company! They make all kinds of promises that they are unable and unwilling to keep. Their location services are a joke. They don't care if they place in a low volume location. Everyone in the office is great at making excuses on why you're not selling a lot of product. It's really a small office--they make it seem like they have different departments but it's the same people doing the different jobs. We bought 10--have 5 out that we placed ourselves, during covid. After 2 1/2 years we are still waiting to get the rest of our machines placed. The business is run by Del's son, Brian. Anytime you talk to Brian it's like talking to a used car salesman. He says anything to try and make you feel good but it's just garbage. If you do buy in, have locations for your machines already selected. We found out quickly the market is saturated with vending machines and businesses that already have a machine will not replace their current machine with your machine. The big companies get first priority.
You will find out really quickly that the "healthy" items don't sell very well. Ask your locations what they want in the machine and put in what they are willing to spend money on. In reality the term "healthy" is all relative. With what they tell you to look for on product, you can say everything is healthy. Most candy is "gluten free". Many products list low calories, 4+ grams of protein etc. Bottom line--all vending food is junk food. If you have locations already selected, go online and search for discount vending, or used/refurbished machines. Buy thosse and place them yourself. You will spend a lot less money that going though H4U.

Vending machines
Bought 5 vending machines from this company who is EXTREMELY confident in their ability to find locations when you're in the sign up process making all sorts of claims like "it takes an average of one month per machine to place and can happen even sooner!" Except of course once they have your money everything changes, then it was "we can't control this and that" etc etc. I purchased the machines in October which implied my machines should all be placed march or so. By march they only found ONE LOCATION, and a horrible one at that. The location would go about doing less than $50 per month... so much for "high volume locations" After just about a WHOLE YEAR of blaming covid i had THREE of 5 machines placed. They blamed covid which started in April essentially, when all 5 machines should have been placed by then anyway. Nothing but excuses. I ask for a refund for the machines they failed to place in a timely manner, and was rejected. Cut my $20k losses and sold the contract, horrible.

healthy vending business
Run, don't walk away from this company. I looked up their score with Dun & Bradstreet and there is an 8 out of 9 chance that they will go out of business or declare bankruptcy. Obviously concerned I started looking more closely at the company. I found that they had bankrupted the previous business opportunity they ran. I wonder how many people lost money in that deal? One of their customers won a $100, 000 judgement against them before the State of Washington dissolved their company. Then after getting a heads-up from a competitor I called the office here in Illinois that licenses business opportunity companies. They said that Healthier 4U was not registered to sell to Illinois residents and they are violating the law by even offering a healthy vending business to me. I bet this is the case in other states as well - probably one of the reasons Dun and Bradstreet has scored them as a high risk company.
They said a lot of things that I found later to be untrue. Their contract said they did not talk to me about how much money I could earn but the salesperson went into a lot of detail about return on investment and how quickly I would earn my money back. Many things they said did not match up with what they say in their contract and the contract says that they are not liable for anything verbal - only what is in the contract. Nice.
If you are looking at the healthy vending industry I would DEFINITELY NOT consider Healthier4U Vending.

I ordered 3 machines last year Nov 2021. Still have not placed any. Went on several "possible" customer interviews. Locations are horrible, customer acts like they've never heard of H4U then I have to explain it all over again then they change their minds. I thought vending would be a good business for when I retire but it seems as though I just gave up $30k for nothing. And like another gentleman said, businesses already have vending machines in place. Why would they want to get rid of their and get H4U machine? does not make sense. You have to find a business just starting to get their business. Hopefully, I will get them placed eventually...if not, I will sell my contract.

I currently own 18 of these of these machines. I started my company affiliation with H4U June 2018 with 15 machines. I had a positive experience with this franchise personally and no regrets. They provided training and helped me find my locations. They even helped me find new locations on several machines that weren't doing as well as I had hoped. Everyone one I interacted with from H4U have been incredibly knowledgable and nice. I still get contacted from them now and then to make sure I'm doing well. I can't complain about the income the machines bring in either! I have some machines that need to be filled everyday. The online system that they use is awesome! I would recommend this franchise.

I invested in Healthier 4U in December 2017 with an initial order of 10 machines. I'll be expanding my business with them a little later this year. My experience with H4U has been positive and, while it does take work and hustle, my return on my initial investment has been more robust than expected. I look forward to growing with Healthier 4U in the coming years. You can find me at www.HealthierSoultionsNow.com and on Facebook @H4UWisconsin.

Actual affiliate/owner here. I can't speak to the OP's experience, but for myself, Healthier4U has been great to work with from the initial purchase of my machines to still being engaged and making sure my business is growing. I started with 5 machines in August 2018, now I have 38 machines a year later. I've owned other businesses before and worked in a franchise system. I wouldn't have made that investment if I didn't believe in the product and the team at Healthier4U.

Hello, could you tell me more about your experience with Healthier4U vending? There are a few negative comment on this site, don't want to be bias and just feed into the negative. Looking to work with Healthier4U vending, but the negative comments are persuading me to cut my communication with them. Thanks for again for responding.

Add California to the list of states where these guys are breaking the law. I called the enforcement office here to check them out after things just did not add up. I found too many inconsistencies in what they were saying. I was looking for a franchise and looked at healthy vending as an alternative. First of all I did not appreciate having to watch their 90 minute sales pitch “webinar” before I could ask a SINGLE question. Their support system looks inadequate making them further from a franchise than I felt comfortable. Their financial statement looks very weak especially when looking at how little cash they have on hand.
They look more like a start-up operation but it is the legalities of their company that had me look elsewhere.
